Measures we take to alleviate your moss problem
Firstly soil sampling To establish ph level lawns which should be between 6.5 and 7 and so we can fertilize accordingly prior to scarification and aeration. Scarification is required to remove moss. This is a very severe process on your lawn thus should only be carried out once every three years. Aeration is then carried out to alleviate soil compaction and help drainage. This process is very good for the root system of your grass and in heavy clay should be carried out twice a year to avoid compaction. Depending on your moss problem overseeding may need to be carried out as there may not be much grass left after all the moss has been removed. Then fertilizer is spread in accordance to what has been recommended Also we recommend using a fertilizer that is high in Phosphorous for the root system after aeration and Potassium (Potash) for overall health of the grass.
